Elastic synthetic leather substrate generally consists of a leather layer and an elastic fiber base fabric fixed to the underside of the leather layer.

The elastic fiber base fabric is made from a blend of polyester fibers and elastic fibers. The elastic fibers within the base fabric provide a structural elasticity closely resembling that of the underlying layer of genuine leather. This construction makes the material less prone to deformation, significantly improves its moldability (formability) and durability, resulting in excellent synthetic leather production performance.
